A Polish film, theatre, and voice actor. He made his screen debut as a child in Stanisław Jędryka’s television series Do przerwy 0:1. In the early 1970s, Krzysztof Gosztyła began studying at the State Higher School of Music, but after two years switched to acting and enrolled in the Acting Department of the Aleksander Zelwerowicz State Higher School of Theatre in Warsaw. He made his stage debut as the Gentleman in Witold Gombrowicz’s Operetta, directed by Maciej Prus at the Dramatyczny Theatre in Warsaw.
He has appeared at numerous Warsaw theatres, including the Dramatyczny Theatre (1980–84, 1993–94), Scena Prezentacje Theatre (1982, 1984, 1986), Polish Theatre (1984–87), Na Woli Theatre (1993), Roma Musical Theatre (1994), National Theatre (1997–99), the Wielki Theatre (1999), Ateneum Theatre (since 2000), Jewish Theatre (2002), and Rampa Theatre (2003), as well as Kraków venues including the Bagatela Theatre (2003) and the Teatr KTO (2005).
Gosztyła is also a well-known narrator of audiobooks and radio dramas.
