His musical journey began at the Oskar Kolberg Music Schools in Radom as a pianist studying with Ewa Skrok, before turning to percussion and joining the class of Piotr Gliński. At the same time, he was a member of one of Poland’s leading wind orchestras, Grandioso, with which he appeared at numerous festivals in Poland and abroad, including in Italy, the Czech Republic, and Germany.
In 2008, Adam Krzyczkowski graduated from the Instrumental and Pedagogical Faculty of the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (Białystok branch), where he studied with Henryk Mikołajczyk. In 2003, he began working with the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic as a tutti percussionist, and in 2008–24 was a full-time member of the ensemble.
Since 2012, he has been active as a teacher at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Music Schools in Białystok. Having founded the Virados ensemble specialising in Latin American percussion (batucada) he led it from 2021 to 2024, and worked with the Pro Musica Foundation. Since 2024, he has been a percussionist with the Representative Orchestra of the Territorial Defence Forces.
