Arkadiusz Dobrowolski completed education with distinction at Primary and Secondary State Music School in Gdańsk in the class of Professor Jadwiga Ewald, graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź, in the class of Professor Andrzej Orkisz, and also studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover under Professor Gerrit Zitterbart. In 2016, he obtained a doctoral degree from the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź.

He is a winner of numerous prestigious national and international competitions, including the Johannes Brahms Competition in Gdańsk and Pörtschach, the Pierre Lantier Competition in Paris, and the Giovanni Battista Viotti Competition in Italy. He has performed in most European countries as well as in the United States, Japan, and North Africa. In 2001, he made his Carnegie Hall debut with the Polish Trio.

Arkadiusz Dobrowolski has worked with numerous symphony and chamber orchestras and has made many radio and commercial recordings on labels such as DUX, Toccata Classics, and CD Accord. Since 2007, he has been principal soloist of the Radom Chamber Orchestra. He is also an active teacher, and his students have won more than sixty prizes at national and international competitions.
