Regarded one of the most talented young Korean pianists, Hyuk Lee began studying piano and violin at the age of three. At nine, he made his orchestral debut performing a Mozart concerto in Salzburg. He has appeared in prestigious concert halls worldwide, including the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Rudolfinum in Prague, the Moscow Conservatory, and Tokyo’s Kioi Hall. He gained international recognition after winning the Grand Prix at the Long–Thibaud Competition in Paris in 2022. He was also a finalist of the Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw (2021) and winner of numerous international competitions.
He studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where he was awarded the prestigious Prix Cortot. He performs actively as a soloist and chamber musician, frequently appearing in piano duo with his brother, Hyo Lee.
