Jong-Jie Yin is one of the most compelling young conductors, praised for his natural authority on the podium, musical maturity, and charismatic presence. Leading artists including Neeme Järvi, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, and Dima Slobodeniouk have highlighted his exceptional talent and artistic potential.
International attention followed his success at major conducting competitions, including First Prize at the 11th Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition for Conductors in 2023 and a Mention Spéciale at the 57th Besançon International Competition. In 2025, he was a finalist of the Herbert von Karajan Young Conductors Award, conducting Camerata Salzburg at the Salzburg Festival to critical acclaim.
Yin has since worked with orchestras across Europe and Asia, including NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Poznań Philharmonic, Silesian Philharmonic, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, NCPA Orchestra, and Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra. In the 2025/26 season, his engagements include debuts at the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw and with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
Since 2023, he has served as Assistant Conductor of the China National Symphony Orchestra. Yin studies conducting at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin with Markus Stenz.
