Polish mezzo-soprano Karolina Sikora’s education in Poland and abroad is reflected in her broad and versatile artistic profile. Beside 29 mezzo-soprano opera roles in her repertoire, she performs song recitals, chamber music, and oratorio-cantata works, appearing regularly with leading Polish philharmonic institutions, including the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Pomeranian, Łódź and Kraków philharmonics, and the NOSPR Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, gracing major opera houses, for example the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, Kraków Opera, and Opera at the Castle in Szczecin. She has also appeared in operatic productions abroad, including at the Opéra-Comique in Paris and on the stages of Japan, China, and Taiwan.

In recognition of her artistic achievements, Karolina Sikora has been granted the City of Gdańsk Culture Award for Young Artists, the Gdańsk Theatre Award, and the Jan Kiepura Theatre Music Award for Best Female Singer.

Karolina Sikora is among the artists who worked closely with the late Professor Krzysztof Penderecki. She has taken part in numerous concerts conducted by the composer in Poland and abroad, performing works such as Credo, Seven Gates of Jerusalem, and Te Deum.
