The trio consists of Russian-British violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, German cellist Isang Enders, and Chinese pianist Qian Wu performing together for nearly twenty years.
They appear regularly at prestigious venues including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Lincoln Center in New York, and London’s Wigmore Hall. Their recordings for BIS Records have received numerous awards, including the BBC Music Magazine Award and the Diapason d’Or ARTE. Their complete recording of Beethoven’s piano trios was widely acclaimed, with The Times naming it one of the Best Classical Albums of 2024.
Recent highlights include a residency at Beethovenfest Bonn and international tours across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The trio is also dedicated to contemporary music and regularly commissions new works.
